Automating closed captions

Watch my Mac read a spreadsheet, and my PC enter the numbers into Storyline!

In 2014, I worked on a series of hour-long virtual lectures in Storyline 2. At the time, Storyline could not incorporate industry-standard closed caption files, and the few workarounds that existed were tedious and time-consuming.  The video below shows my weird-but-functional endeavor to automate some of the process.  This is a true “Frankenstein” process, with parts from many software apps.  I’m so glad technology has evolved, so workarounds like this are no longer necessary.

This video demonstrates an innovative closed caption technique I used in 2015.
